A land-border export route—not a sea port.

Horgos is a major road and rail crossing between China and Kazakhstan used for vehicle exports toward Central Asia.

Vehicles may move by carrier truck, rail or another agreed arrangement. The Chinese handover point, border responsibilities, transit plan and final destination must be stated in the quotation and contract.

Route background: State Council Information Office report on Horgos vehicle exports. Final transport availability is confirmed per shipment.

“To Horgos” is not the same as “to your city.”

The quotation must state exactly where VehicleHarbor’s responsibility ends.

Vehicles carried by road toward a land-border export route

Available vehicles: generally 20–30 days to Horgos.

The estimate starts after the contract is signed, the required deposit is received and the specification is confirmed.

It does not automatically include border waiting time, Kazakhstan import procedures, transit through another country or delivery to the buyer’s final city.

Destination details change the plan.

Define the endpoint first.

Can vehicles be exported through Horgos?

Yes. Horgos is used for road and rail vehicle exports through the China–Kazakhstan border. Availability and the operating method must be confirmed for each shipment.

Does the 20–30 day estimate mean delivery to Kazakhstan?

No. The current estimate refers to delivery toward the Horgos border area for available vehicles. Cross-border and final-city delivery require a separate timeline.

Which Central Asian countries can be served?

The route may support Kazakhstan and onward Central Asian destinations, but the actual transit, import and carrier arrangement must be checked for the requested country.

Can I appoint my own logistics company?

Yes, if the handover point, receiving party, documentation and responsibilities are agreed before transport begins.
